A member of the San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS) and American College of Prosthodontists, Dr. Edmund Jay leverages more than three decades of experience to provide a range of dental care services, particularly to geriatric patients. Dr. Edmund Jay performs fillings, crowns, and bridges and provides malocclusion treatment services as well as TMJ dysfunction therapy. He has been in private practice since 1990 but simultaneously held staff privileges at two San Diego hospitals for the first 13 years of his career.

Dr. Jay also has extensive experience in dental education capacities. He is a mentor for the Spear Education Dental Group in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has provided peer review for the SDCDS for more than 25 years. Moreover, he teaches single-day dentistry via methods including 3D CBCT, scanning, and Invisalign therapy.

Before beginning his career, Dr. Edmund Jay was chief resident at UCLA Veterans Hospital Wadsworth. He provided maxillofacial prosthetics to veterans who had been wounded in combat or with acquired cancer defects. He earned his doctor of dental surgery from Loyola University Chicago College of Dental Surgery and obtained several honors and accolades. He graduated with the highest clinical honors and received the Top Senior Dental Student Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.
